Dress: Tibi via The Outnet (shop similar here) / Purse: Vintage from mom / Shoes: Manolo Blahnik Sedaraby / Bracelets: Macy’s & J.Crew (love this one) / Headband: Amazon (unavailable but you can shop the vendor for similar items)
When I saw this dress in Tibi’s spring (I think?) collection last year I.was.obsessed. But the $550 price tag was definitely not worth the splurge to me – esp since as of late I realize how much I destroy dresses when I wear them. Hello heels, alcohol, sweat and food. So, I snagged and saved some photos of the dress and vowed to find something similar…
…Fast forward to this past winter when I was STILL thinking about this dress and low and behold, my friend sends me a link because its MORE THAN HALF OFF AND IN MY SIZE ON THE OUTNET! My prayers were answered. I didn’t even think twice and ordered this gem in about 30 seconds and worried how I was going to afford to eat after. (P.S. it worked out fine as I did not die of hunger).
I finally got to debut the dress for one of my sorority sister’s weddings at a beautiful country club outside of Philly on an amazing day which provided me with such an awesome background for my outfit photos!

Dress & Bracelet: J.Crew / Booties: Steve Madden / Purse: ASOS /Coat: French Connection / Earrings: Forever 21
Ok, I know its 90 degrees today but I warned I would have one Fall post. This was taken last November before my 29th birthday celebration with a few girlfriends. This J.Crew shift dress was definitely a Fall/Winter staple for me and I wore it a TON! I don’t own very many things in brown tones and I love the pop of mint in this dress. I had a blast that day at brunch in the Meatpacking and am already starting to plot out some plans for my 30th.
I’ll be back next week to kick off some spring fashion!

Top: JCrew (snag the tank version here)/ Skirt: Topshop (shop similar) / Shoes: Boutique 9 via DSW (old) / Bag: Macy’s (shop similar) / Necklace: Bauble Bar (shop similar)
Yep, I am a total slacker – 9 months of not posting. So now that I acknowledged it, I’m moving on with the warning that you’re going see one winter outfit this next week!
This was outfit “B,” put together last minute for an end of April bachelorette party in Pittsburgh when the weather ended up being terribly cold – you know, sort of like how its supposed to only be a a high of 65 this weekend for Memorial Day? I was sad not to wear my new dress but welcomed the opportunity to put something this fun together and it gave me the motivation to start snapping photos again once I returned back from the trip.
I searched high and low last Fall for an oxblood/maroon colored skirt and was willing to throw down some major cashola for it – then I found this amazingly perfect peplum one at TopShop for less than $100. I REALLY didn’t think it was going to fit but I think the material + cut ended up being super flattering. Even though I am a “hippier”girl, I find that well tailored form fitting pieces actually flatter me the most and I feel super confident in them, so I of course have purchased many more items form fitting items since then which you’ll hopefully see in the near future if I don’t go off the map again.
Hopefully someone is reading this and people haven’t lost all faith in me!

The last of my summer looks as we bid adieu to the warm weather as this cold and rainy day frowns upon us. I am going to try and “fall-er-ize” some of my fave warm weather pieces so be on the lookout for them in the near future.

Top: Unknown / Pants: Zara / Shoes: Diba (shop similar) / Necklace: NYC Vendor / Bracelets: Forever 21 & JCREW / Sunnies: AE
Dear Zara,
Did you make these SEQUIN PRINTED pants just for me? Because I think you did. I almost died when I saw them in the store because I couldn’t believe they existed for under $50 – and then they fit so comfortably and perfectly. I will be wearing these all.year.long. Thank you for making this fall season bright.
Sincerely,
Your sequin OBSESSED customer Kristina Baron
